ABOUT ME
Chedia El Khouri
A writer and poet from Quebec, Canada. Born in Brazil to parents of Lebanese background, she grew up in Nova Scotia, where her family moved in pursuit of new opportunities. Chedia draws inspiration from her multicultural upbringing.
Fluent in Portuguese, English, and French, she is currently learning Lebanese. With a Bachelor of Arts in Languages from Dalhousie University and a Marketing in Business Diploma from Saint Mary’s University, she has expanded her knowledge in various fields.
Chedia’s lifelong passion for poetry rekindled in 2022, resulting in her debut collection, Ebbs and Flows of the Heart. Within these poems she explores themes of heartache, unconditional love, and the resilience of the heart. Through her passionate words, she embraces her cultural heritage while penning her unique perspective on the world.
